– show more about Dominique –Dominique Wilson is an Indigenous-aligned psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and educator whose work bridges Western, Eastern and indigenous mental health frameworks together. A descendant of the Otomí people with deep familial roots in Curanderismo, she weaves Indigenous worldview, intuitive practice, and land-based healing with evidence-informed psychotherapy to support individuals, families, and practitioners.
As a proud MilSpouse, Dominique has lived and practiced across multiple states, allowing her to serve diverse communities and understand healing through a culturally expansive lens. Her early years as a crisis worker in Tucson, AZ—partnering with first responders, hospitals, and the mental health court—provided extensive experience with high-risk and marginalized populations. Her work later expanded into Las Vegas, NV, where she supported outpatient and residential clients, collaborated with state leaders to improve law-enforcement responses to Black and Brown communities.
Dominique’s background also includes service in Child Protective Services, where she worked extensively with trauma, attachment wounds, ICWA-related cases, and adoption concerns. She has supported communities including Tohono O’odham and Pima tribes, LGBTQ+ clients, Latino/a families, military personnel and dependents navigating combat trauma and transition, and individuals across a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
Today, Dominique is known for her integrative approach to psychotherapy, specializing in trauma recovery, perinatal mental health, reproductive trauma (including preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome, miscarriage, and infant loss), anxiety, men’s issues, and psychospiritual concerns. Her career extends beyond traditional therapy to include energy-based modalities, somatic practices, and ceremonial healing rooted in curanderismo and Indigenous teachings.
Dominique is EMDR-certified, Parts and Memory Therapy–certified (and trained directly by the founder, Dr. Jay Noricks), Brainspotting-trained, Natural Processing–trained, a Reiki Master , trained in Pranic Healing, and is training as a psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist under Catherin Warnock, LPC in NM. She is hoping to offer these services in New Mexico in the future. She is an approved supervisor across multiple states, providing mentorship, consultation, and supervision to clinicians who wish to integrate holistic, spiritual, ancestral, or Indigenous-aligned practices into their clinical work. Her mentorship centers relational accountability, cultural humility, ethical integration, and the decolonization of mental health practice.
In addition to her clinical work, Dominique is an educator and continuing-education provider, offering trainings on multicultural supervision, decolonizing ethics, and integrative healing. She supports practitioners in developing a grounded, ethical, and attuned approach toward professional helping. Dominique’s mission is to support clients and clinicians in returning to balance. Through therapy, supervision, and education, she helps individuals reconnect with their inner wisdom, reclaim ancestral ways of knowing, and step into a more liberated, whole, and embodied expression of themselves.
