Clinical Counseling

Counseling is a collaborative process that facilitates personal growth, self-awareness, and healing by addressing emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. Rooted in empathy, trust, and professional ethics, counseling provides individuals with a safe and supportive environment to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through evidence-based techniques and personalized approaches, counselors help clients navigate life transitions, mental health concerns, trauma, relationships, and overall well-being. The goal of counseling is to empower individuals to develop coping strategies, improve self-efficacy, and enhance their quality of life by fostering resilience, insight, and personal transformation.

Natural Healing (Non-Clinical)

Natural healing is a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on the body’s innate ability to heal itself through the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Rooted in ancient traditions and modern integrative practices, natural healing encompasses various modalities, including herbal medicine, energy healing, bodywork, nutrition, mindfulness, and movement-based therapies. It emphasizes prevention, balance, and self-care by addressing the root causes of imbalance rather than merely alleviating symptoms. Natural healing recognizes the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, often incorporating practices such as meditation, Reiki, Shamanic practices, breathwork, and plant medicine. By fostering harmony within the body’s natural rhythms, this approach supports overall vitality, resilience, and a deeper connection to self and nature. These are non-clinical services not billable through insurance. Bodywork, nutrition, herbal medicine are referred out to trusted practitioners.

Community Workshops (Non-Clinical)

Our Community Workshops provide a safe, supportive, and engaging space for individuals to explore personal growth, emotional well-being, and holistic healing. Designed for people of all backgrounds, these workshops integrate education, experiential activities, and group discussions to foster self-awareness, resilience, and connection.

Each workshop is tailored to address key topics such as stress management, trauma healing, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and somatic practices. Rooted in a trauma-informed and holistic framework, we incorporate evidence-based approaches alongside integrative healing modalities such as breathwork, meditation, and energy work.

Whether you are seeking tools for self-care, deeper emotional processing, or a sense of community, these workshops offer an opportunity to learn, grow, and heal in a nurturing environment. Sessions are available in-person and online, with both individual and group participation options.

Clinical Training

My clinical trainings are designed to equip mental health professionals with advanced skills, evidence-based interventions, and integrative approaches to enhance their therapeutic practice. Each training focuses on deepening clinical competence while encouraging a dynamic, experiential learning environment. Whether you’re looking to expand your expertise in trauma treatment, mind-body integration, or alternative healing practices, these courses provide practical tools that can be immediately applied in your work with clients.

Supervision

Supervision is a vital component of professional growth for counselors, providing a structured and supportive environment to enhance clinical skills, ethical decision-making, and personal development. My supervision approach is rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed framework that integrates humanistic, existential, and somatic perspectives, empowering clinicians to deepen their self-awareness and confidence in their work.

As a supervisor, I prioritize creating a safe, reflective space where supervisees can explore case conceptualization, therapeutic techniques, countertransference, and professional identity development. I incorporate elements of EMDR, Parts and Memory Therapy, Brainspotting, and other integrative modalities to guide clinicians in developing a well-rounded and effective practice.

Supervision is tailored to each clinician’s needs, whether they are seeking licensure, refining their therapeutic approach, or integrating alternative healing practices within an ethical framework. My goal is to help clinicians grow into skilled, ethical, and self-assured practitioners who provide impactful care while maintaining their own well-being.

Retreats (Non-Clinical)

Retreats at Optimal Focus Counseling offer a dedicated space for wellness oriented support, self-reflection, and emotional renewal. Participants engage in guided activities such as meditation, shamanic practices, breathwork, nature meditations, trauma-informed workshops, and somatic healing to foster self-awareness and inner balance. With a focus on rest, rejuvenation, and personal growth, mental health retreats create a supportive environment where individuals can reconnect with themselves, develop coping strategies, and embark on a transformative healing journey.
